How can you use Avatars in Education

I use Weemees as an avatar. These avatars go on my blogs and wikis. I also use them for when I am marking students work and I want to make a comment. They are my 'digital stickers and stamps'!

Make a character Weemee.

Vocalise your Weemee

This is an idea I got from Dave at Somerville Intermediate (who by the way has a great class wiki).
Create your Weemee and then put it into Blabberize to make it speak

Ways to use this tool
  • students introduce themselves on their blog or wiki
  • make a character from a book and speak from their point of view
  • students record their speech
